Электронная система, использующая именные удостоверения с фотографиями для оказания помощи команде обеспечения безопасности объектов в контроле перемещений персонала в зонах ограниченного доступа. Электронный контроль не следует путать с контролем доступа на объекты, который осуществляется путем проверки аккредитаций и процедур досмотра.

electronic access control (EAC)
Electronic-based system which utilizes personalized photo-ID access cards to assist the VST in monitoring personnel movements into and out of security restricted areas. Access control is not to be confused with venue or facility access and control, which is based on Games accreditation and screening procedures.
